Activities of the association

The association Taskala for the development of the douar Timidarte has, during the last two years, made the following major achievements:

• Improvement in adult literacy
• The repair of a school classroom
• The construction of school toilets
• The establishment by women of a breeding project for d’man sheep
• The establishment of a school canteen
• The construction and installation of a nursery school (preschool)
• The implementation of a project of an organic agricultural garden
• Part of the development of the Kasbah

The contribution to the projects by each member is threefold:

• Project identification
• Financial contribution
• The formation of the management committee for each project
• Monitoring project progress
